Regalis is an elegant Latin display-face. It combines elements from various Gaelic and Devanagari scripts to connote an Indian identity. It is a response to the aesthetically deficient and racially insensitive “ethnic type” commonly found on the storefront signs of inexpensive take-out restaurants.
